Cap band in maroon, denoting medical corps, with bullion badge and bullion oak leaves indicating a senior officer. Side buttons are Tudor crown Canada general service. The hat was made by Muir Cap & Regalia at 31 Simcoe St. Toronto Canada. Considerable staining and moth on the top and rear. The interior leather and velvet sweat band is dry and damaged in one area. These condition issues do not detract in display. Overall, a decent example of a hard to find cap.
