Hard to find Royal Canadian Air Force #20 EFTS pilot's log book named to Flt. Lt. G.K. Trotter. Dr. Gordon K. Trotter (1910-1998) was a physician who met his wife Margaret while she was serving as an RCAF nursing sister during the second world war. Entries begin in September of 1942 and end in April of 1943. Since there are no entries listing Flt. Lt. Trotter as the pilot, speculation has it that he was serving in Oshawa in a medical capacity and was given this log book to record pleasure or ferry flights from and around #20 Elementary Flight Training School. It is also possible he just decided to abandon a desire to fly. Log books from the Oshawa school are not abundant.
