Second war-era RCMP bronze gilt cap badge featuring a buffalo head inside an inscribed garter reading "MAINTIENS LE DROIT", surrounded by maple leaves and topped with a King's Crown. The badge of the "Mounties" has largely unchanged since 1876, thought the spelling on the garter was corrected from "Maintien" to "Maintiens" in 1912. Lugs present. Maker marked Scully Ltd.
