Although this beret has no maker mark and is undated, the 15th Alberta Light Horse cap badge has clearly been on this cap for a very long time which would suggest it was worn in the early years of the second world war. The badge is supported inside by period cardboard, the lugs and pin show verdigris. Heavy wool construction with leather edge, no mothing present, clear C-broad arrow.
