With box of issue. Private Pete Ouillette, No. 288649 was born at Carmen, Manitoba on February 15, 1884. He attested at Winnipeg to the 221st Battalion in May of 1916. On October 30, 1917, while with the 78th Battalion during the fighting at Passchendaele, he was reported missing and then later presumed to have died.
Pte. Ouillette is listed on the Roll of Honour in the 1984 publication "Forgotten Soldiers" by Fred Gaffen
