WWI Canadian Expeditionary Force Cap Badge to the 193rd (Nova Scotia Highlanders) Overseas Battalion, also known as the Cape Breton Highlanders. The scroll at the bottom bears the Scottish Gaelic motto "Sgiol na Fear Fearail," which translates to "School of Manly Men." Brass, no maker's mark, both original lugs intact. Some wear from having been polished.
