A first world war cap badge to the 1st Depot Battalion, Nova Scotia Regiment in gilt finish. The battalion, formed in 1918 was based in Halifax, Nova Scotia to train recruits and provide reinforcements for active battalions overseas. Both original lugs, no maker mark. In very good condition.
