This first war CEF pin-back collar badge or sweetheart (note: pin is broken off) is to the 45th Battalion, which was raised in Brandon, MB, in 1915 and served as a a training and reserve battalion in England. The badge is made of bronze and features a maple leaf design with a crown at the top and the number "45" at the bottom. Maker marked R.J. Inglis Limited.
