Volumes 1 and 2 of Max Aiken's/Lord Beaverbrook's story of the CEF as commissioned by the Canadian government of the time. These original books are becoming difficult to find.
Hard cover Volumes I and II. Volume I is a twelfth edition, March 1916 printing, covers lightly worn and soiled with a minor separation of the binding at one instance, no loose pages, no foxing. Volume II is a second edition, 1917 printing, covers worn and lightly soiled with a small separation of the spine fabric (see photos) which does not affect the binding, pages are tight, no foxing.
