The Canadian Flying Club Association was founded in 1929 and granted Royal status a year later. The RCFCA played a key role during the Second World War by organizing flying clubs to manage Elementary Flying Training Schools (EFTS) under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. The Edmonton club managed No. 16 EFTS. This jacket crest sports the tudor crown, measures 115mm x 100mm and is in excellent condition.
