A matching pair of pre-WWI (ca. 1909-1914) Canadian Militia collar badges for the 21st Alberta Hussars (21st A.H.) which was authorized in 1908 and headquartered in Medicine Hat.
Both red brass badges feature the iconic central bison/buffalo head design under a Tudor crown, the regiment's Latin motto: "Nemo Me Impune Lacessit" and the lower scroll reading "21st A.H." Scully maker marks are partially obscured by the lugs, which are intact with one appearing to have been repaired. Nice red brass finish.
