Pre-WW1 cap badge to the Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) regiment. The badge is made of white metal and features the Star of the Order of the Thistle. It includes a central oval inscribed with the motto "Nemo Me Impune Lacesset" (no one provokes me with impunity) surrounding St. Andrew. No maker's mark noted; both original lugs are intact.
