Self described as "Containing a thrilling account of the great struggle between the British and the Boers". There is a lot of Canadian content, including photographs, in this book. Buy it for the information within, not for its looks on the shelf. In pristine condition, this book is ridiculously expensive; offered here at a very reasonable price.
Hardcover published in London, Ontario. Leather spine and corners over cloth boards, original leather spine has been completely covered with a later heavy leather which doesn't look great but is holding the book together very well. Gilt lettering. Edgewear, corners of the boards are exposed due to rubbing. Pages are in good condition.
