Named to D'Orilla MacKenzie but we have found no information on this woman. Condition as shown in the photos, there are numbers on the bottom of the kit bag but they're mostly illegible.
During the Second World War thousands of Canadian women enlisted in a uniformed, disciplined group of volunteers specially trained for wartime service, known as the Canadian Red Cross Corps. It is not known whether Ms. Mackenzie was one of the 641 Corps members to represent the Canadian Red Cross overseas during the war.
