Typical British and Commonwealth canteen of the Boer War period. Although it is missing it leather carry strap, the original stopper, retaining chain and felt cover remain. The felt cover is in fragile condition with considerable moth damage on one side and average moth damage and staining on the other; one chip to the blue porcelain noted. Priced accordingly.
