Austrian Empire Bravery Medal, specifically the Class 1 Silver Grade, issued during the reign of Emperor Karl I. Inscription reads, "CAROLVS D.G. IMP. AUST. REX BOH. ETC. ET REX APOST HUNG.", referring to Karl I as Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary.
