MK.1 Ross Bayonet dated Aug. 1910. Blade has patina with sharpening and the blunt tip is mildly damaged. Back of the pommel is stamped 5MR 437, which indicates the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles and a rack number of 437. Behind the lug there is another stamping of 217 CC 74. The wooden grip is impressed with 2DD-128. Reverse shows some faded letters and the number 78.
Scabbard is a MK.2 with 1941 Hugh Carson stamp and a large C Broad Arrow.
