Canadian recipients were permitted to wear the 1939–1945 Star ribbon bar following its institution by the United Kingdom in July of 1943, a few months earlier than the CVSM. Based upon the qualifications, these would be more likely seen on RCAF, RCN and Merchant Navy uniforms.

These are handcrafted new old stock (NOS) on brass, presumably done through cottage industries in Canada and the U.K.   The price shown is for ONE ribbon bar. We have a number of these available.
